Welcome to Medical Statistics!
Microsoft Excel was released in Japan in 1986 for Mac and 1989 for Windows, and a year later in 1990, an add-in statistical software for Excel was released in Japan. This year 2024 marks the 34th year, and there are now more than 100 statistical programs. We were programming in English in parallel with Japanese, but since we were able to cover most of medical statistics, we decided to debut the English version, named StatFinale.
There are many methods in medical statistics. The first problem in statistical processing is choosing which method to use for testing. In addition, each method has a difficult formula, so it is a challenging field to enter. Try searching the online for “statistical testing method, flow chart.” No matter which search engine you use, there are many statistical terms waiting for you.
In addition to the flow chart, StatFinale displays the statistical procedure, content, and graphs for each testing method on the screen, and also includes sample data. As a new attempt to make medical statistics more user friendly, we have presented example problems and calculation results for each statistical method, so that you can understand it visually without manipulating formulas as much as possible. Even if you use other statistical software programs, you will be able to understand each test method by looking at the graphs, tables, and post-calculation responses in StatFinale. We hope that by browsing this website, you will be freed from the black box of statistics.
