Exercise:
Carpal-tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the disease in which chronic medial nerve entrapment occurs at the carpal canal. The nerve conduction test is useful for the diagnosis. Below are the results of the nerve conduction test in 28 CTS patients and 28 normal (NC) subjects. The abbreviations in columns are the 2nd lumbrical palmar interosseous study (2LPI), digit 4 comparison study (D4), motor nerve conduction velocity (MCV), sensory nerve conduction velocity (SCV), and the amplitude and latency of medial nerve.
Display histograms of these data and perform ROC analysis to find the best measurement for the diagnosis.
